About Eastern Delaware County Joint Recreation District

The initial responsibilities of the JRD Board of Trustees will include all of the following:

• Engage the community and assess the recreational needs of district residents.
• Determine if a community center is the proper facility for meeting such needs; evaluate existing community resources that may be leveraged to support the JRD.
• Evaluate options for financing the construction and maintenance of a community center.
• Develop a sustainable plan for programming and operating a community center.
